LED screen display rental

As LED technology becomes more ubiquitous, you may be questioning when or if you should choose an LED display rental over an LCD or plasma screen. The answer (unfortunately) is, it depends. At Meeting Tomorrow, we feel that the best way for us to help you determine the most appropriate equipment for your meeting or event is for you to speak with one of our audio visual specialists who can assess your needs and give you recommendations and pricing.

That said, here is some general information to help you better understand the difference between renting an LED, LCD or plasma monitor:

• For the most part, plasma and LCD technology can be used interchangeably for any screen up to 61”. The viewer or user will not notice a difference in brightness or quality.
• High definition format is available in all three display types.
• Some people consider LED TVs to be “better” because they are thinner and more energy efficient than LCD TVs. However, for a short-term rental for your meeting or event, this is rarely impactful and would not justify the higher cost associated with LED TVs.
• Another main difference between LED and LCD displays is how the backlighting works. Again, this is not impactful for most of our customers' rental needs.
